<p>Matt, a former service user and current peer mentor with MOPS was successful in applying for the 6 month part-time Government funded post to work alongside Senior Project Worker Joanne Mitchell in providing support and mentoring to young people on placement with MOPS.</p>
<p>He will build on his skills and experience as a peer mentor, with a view to a full-time career in housing and support for young people.</p>

Working in partnership with Housing Options/Homelessness Teams in Pendle, Hyndburn and Rossendale, we will be using 4 dedicated lodgings placements throughout the region to accommodate homeless 16 and 17yr olds who require emergency accommodation. Referrals to this new scheme will be through the HOT teams listed above. Further details on the Emergency Lodgings section of this site.</p>
