If you have nowhere sorted to stay for the night, and are aged 16 – 21 yrs old, then you may be able to get a bed for the night through the emergency lodgings scheme.

You need to get a referral from your local Housing Options Team/Homelessness Team at the local Council (does not include Burnley residents), or from another agency providing you with advice or support:

Contact them to be referred to emergency lodgings.

Enquiries outside of office hours will go through the Emergency Out of Hours Service for each area.

They will assess whether you can be accepted onto the scheme and offered accommodation. If you are not accepted, they may be able to help with other emergency accommodation.
